Designed to provide precision cost effective position sensing, this sensor employs the patented inductive technology as used in the Gill Sensors range of 'Blade' sensors. Developed to sense ±100m of linear motion, this is the ideal solution for applications with a long stroke.

The sensor is fully non-contact - there is no physical contact between the sensor and the part to be sensed. This ensures that the sensor will not wear out over time - a drawback with most other types of position sensor. This sensor is fully electronic with on-board processing providing extensive configuration via the software provided.

The Custom 200mm Linear Position Sensor was developed as a proof of concept to demonstrate the capabilities of our inductive technology.
