Typical Concept Product Design Phases
At Gill, a typical concept product design phase will encompass all or a selection of the following development stages:
- Initial meeting with client to understand the brief, establish project goals and deliverables and agree a realistic target timescale for the development.
- Development of a project brief, including required technical specification requirements.
- Generation of product architecture and key feature plan.
- Concept product design drawing development, component size/shape consideration and generation of a proposal 3D visualisation drawing set.
- Liaison with customer and review of the concept product design proposal.
- Commencing of rapid prototyping development phase, based on the product design concept.
